We will be closed Friday, Dec. 22nd- Tuesday, Jan. 2nd for Christmas break. Classes will resume Wednesday, Jan. 3rd.

All dancers are invited to ride on the float for the Midnight Magic Parade on Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Lineup starts at 2:00pm at Mukwonago High School, the parade starts at 3:00pm. When dropping off park in the west parking lot and walk to the east parking lot were the parade line-up is. The parade will start from the Mukwonago High School parking lot, go east down Roberts Street, south on Meadow View, east on MacArthur, south on Highway 83 and east on Washington Avenue to the Library. Pick your child up at the Mukwonago Library when we have completed the parade route. All students should dress warm, with their outside layer being white. There is no need to sign-up ahead of time!
For midnight magic, Saturday Dec. 2nd our traveling dance groups Dancers In Motion and Kids In Motion will be performing at the village of Mukwonago Fire Station, on the corner of ES (Veteran’s Way) and Holz Pkwy at 5:30 and 6:30. Please join us!

This year the recital will take place at UW Whitewater. It has been 5 years since we have been at Whitewater, it will be a special place for our 25th recital. We are looking forward to returning to this beautiful facility. The rehearsal will be June 2nd. The shows will be June 3rd, June 8th and June 9th.

The dress rehearsal will be held at UW Whitewater on Saturday, June 2nd. The rehearsal will be during the day beginning at 10am. We will assign a time for your child’s rehearsal in the beginning of March. You can expect to be at the auditorium about 1 hour, a little longer if you have multiple children and/or multiple classes. The dress rehearsal is the only time students can sit in the auditorium; during the shows students are backstage. Because of this the rehearsal is closed to everyone except one adult per dancer. Available to you at the rehearsal will be a professional photographer taking individual and group photos. If you have any scheduling conflicts, please let Miss Jill know as soon as possible.

The theme of this year’s recital is “25th Anniversary.” The recitals will be Sunday, June 3rd at 2:00pm, Friday, June 8th at 6:00pm, Saturday, June 9th at 11:00am and 4:00 in the afternoon. Everyone will be in two of the four shows. The shows will be about 2 1/2 hours long. Your exact recital dates will be given to you the beginning of February. Please let Miss Jill know if you have a recital conflict. Tickets for the recital will go on sale May 1st. Tickets are all general admission so there is not a rush to purchase tickets the first day.

This year we will again have a father/daughter dance in the recital! We will have practices starting mid-February and running until the end of May. You can pick to practice on Wednesday’s from 6:45-7:30 or on Saturday’s from 12:15-1:00. You must pick one day or the other, you can’t go back and forth between the two. We do it this way to keep practices less crowded and more organized. Sign-up starts right after Christmas break on Wednesday, January 3rd until it is full. It will fill up quickly, do not wait if you would like to participate in this dance. Sign -up will be at the desk, space is limited to a certain number for Wednesday and Saturday practices. The class will cost $55.00 for each father/daughter group. You do not need to be at every practice but you need to commit to at least six.

Studio closing due to weather may be checked by calling the dance studio, checking the studio
website or on WISN channel 12 and WISN.com. If you are signed up for remind text you will also be notified.
If your email address has changed or does anytime during the year please stop at the desk and update it for us, as we do send information via email. Don’t forget to sign up for REMIND!
