Director / Owner
Miss Kay opened the studio in 1993 combining her two passions in life: working with people and dance. In 1994, she introduced Dancers in Motion, a not-for-profit traveling dance company that has performed at local and national venues ranging from Mukwonago nursing homes to New York City. She has over 30 years of dance teaching experience. Her vast expertise in ballet, lyrical, tap and jazz paired with her ability to work with all ages render her qualified. She is excited for yet another year of dancing!
Miss Kate studied dance at Kay’s Academy of Dance for ten years in the areas of jazz, tap, pointe and lyrical. In college, she was a member of the pom and dance team in addition to studying jazz and modern dance. Miss Kate then went on to coach the Park View Middle School Pom and Dance team in Mukwonago for two years while also teaching here at Kay’s. She taught ballet, tap, poms, jazz, lyrical and skills for four years before taking a year off to begin another wonderful adventure, motherhood. Miss Kate is ecstatic to be back at Kay’s inspiring students to push themselves further than they thought possible.
