Summer Dance Classes & Workshops
Registration for summer dance classes is now open!
Each class meets twice a week for a 6-week session starting Monday, June 17th through Thursday, August 1st. The Summer Dance Showcase will be held on Friday, August 2nd at Brooklife Church. The studio will be closed July 1st - July 4th, no classes will be held.
*Be sure to check out the schedule for our new trial classes and conditioning workshops in August!
You must pre-register for all classes, there is no registration fee & no refunds.

Recital News
Our 2024 “Leap of Faith” Recital is getting closer! We have a few updates about our upcoming recital:
Recital T-shirts will soon be available to purchase at the studio.
Recital tickets will go on sale at the studio on May 1st.
Costumes will be sent home the week of May 6th-11th.
Our recital dress rehearsal schedule is available to view in the recital hub on our website. Dress rehearsals will be held at the Mukwonago High School Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, June 4th & Wednesday, June 5th.
Recital Picture Days: A photographer will be at the studio on Friday, May 31st from 4:00-6:30 PM for individual pictures.
During your assigned rehearsal time, all classes will have a group photo taken and the photographer will also be available to take individual photos. This will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Birthday Parties
We are excited to announce that you can now celebrate your birthday at Kay's Academy of Dance!
The birthday star will choose their favorite song & our teacher will choreograph a simple dance for attendees to learn & enjoy! Parents may join the last 10 minutes of the party to see the grand finale performance!

On May 5th, our Dancers in Motion AND Kids in Motion will be performing at Six Flags Great America for the 2024 Dance Fest.

Summer Solstice Yoga Event
Embrace the Summer Solstice with Serenity!
Join us on Thursday, June 20th, from 7:30-9:00 PM for a Summer Solstice Yoga experience!
Start the evening outside with a stroll down to the lake for sunset meditation accompanied by live music.
Remember to bring a mug for savoring local tea and honey!
Conclude the event with a candlelit yoga session upstairs at Kay’s Academy of Dance, starting at 8pm. Bring a yoga mat.

Dance with Barbie Workshop
Come on Barbie! Let's go party at Kay's Academy of Dance! Save the date to join us on Friday, June 21st from 5:30-7:00 PM to dance with Barbie! This workshop is for ages 4-7 & 8-11.
Bring your favorite Barbie and learn some dance moves. You can get your nails done, have a snack and a craft will also be provided. Be sure to wear pink! Cost is $20 per student.
Drop-In Classes
Creative Movement Class
Calling all tiny dancers! Join our weekly Creative Movement Drop-In Class! This class is the perfect introduction to the world of dance, where your little one (ages 2-4) can explore movement through music, songs, and fun props!
Drop-In Classes Wednesdays:
9:45 am - 10:15 am & 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
You must register for this drop-in class, but only pay for classes that you attend.
Barre Class
Elevate your fitness game and join us for our weekly Barre Class! Perfect for all fitness levels, it’s a workout that will leave you feeling strong & empowered! Grab your friends and come join in on the fun. Classes are only $11. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat & water.
Class Schedule:
Tuesdays: 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Thursdays: 7:05 - 8:05 PM
We ask that you register for this drop-in class, but only pay for classes you attend.
School Supply Drive
A dance student from Kay’s is part of the Global Scholar Program at her school, and is organizing a school supply drive for her final service project. If you are able, please help fill the donation box at the studio with new or gently used school supplies the week of April 8th - April 12th.
She is working with the nonprofit Develop Africa, so all of the donations will go to countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Thank you!
